We support districts in their development of effective cultural competency frameworks, including social-emotional supports, that enhance school culture and climate, maximize the healthy development of all students and meaningful relationships between students, faculty and staff.

Evaluate.
We help districts and schools with evaluation of English Learners Education (ELE), including Dual Language programs. We also support districts with the evaluation of Student Support Services, and district-wide frameworks for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) following the nationally recognized standards from the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL).

CASE STUDY: Districts frequently reach out to us to assess their full structure of ELE programs, to obtain recommendations for improvement to effectively support the learning of ELs and Dual Language students, increase the quality of ESL and SEI instruction, while maintaining compliance with both federal and state guidelines.

Design.
We support districts in the development of strategic plans to explicitly include evidenced-based solutions to improve the outcomes of EL, Bilingual and multi-lingual students, students with disabilities and the healthy social-emotional development of all students. We assist districts to develop and/or improve standard operating procedures to effectively meet their goals.

CASE STUDY: A district invited us to participate in their strategic plan process, to join walk-throughs, review current systems of student supports, and facilitate focus groups to maximize input from multiple stakeholders and broad perspectives, to best inform priorities for their strategic plan.

Train.
We design and facilitate professional development (PD) for state education agencies, districts, and schools, to address the needs of ESL and SEI faculty, student support staff, and family engagement personnel. Our PD integrates frameworks of cultural and racial literacy and responsive pedagogy, positive developmental relationships, SEL and capacity building family-engagement models.

CASE STUDY: Districts frequently reach out to us to develop and facilitate PD series for ESL and SEI faculty that integrates cultural and linguistic responsive pedagogy within rigorous models of instruction for language development and academic language enhancement. We also frequently provide training in family and community engagement.
